CapDI – Membrane Capacitive Deionization
Cap-DI behaves like a flow-through capacitor where the feedwater travels through stacks of capacitor plates. Ions are adsorbed by carbon electrodes covered with cation and anion ion exchange membranes. The membranes are employed to keep positive and negative ions from migrating to their respective opposite poles during the regeneration sequence. These membranes are impermeable to water, allowing only ions to pass. Alternately, RO water desalination technology employs semi-permeable spiral wound membranes, operating under high pressure, to remove ions, molecules, and larger particles from water.
We offer both Domestic and Industrial versions of CapDi starting from flowrate of 15 LPH to >150 LPH.
Applications
- CapDi based Water ATM systems with tuneable TDS and water recovery of more than 70%:
- Water ATM system with normal and cold-water dispensing.
Filtration Process :
- Pre-Filtration includes removal of any sand, dirt, odour, bad taste, or any hard metal from source of water.
- CapDi based tuneable TDS removal system with high (>70%) of water recovery.
- Hydro-dis System to kill any bacteria/pathogens in water and adding adequate amount of FRC to retain the disinfection over a period of time
- Water Cooler for cooling the pure water
- Dispensing unit to dispense normal and cold water in 330 mL, 1 L and 5 L through coin/card.

When and why should I test my water?
